Sixth Annual World Autism Awareness Day

Every One Matters — Light it Up Blue!

Today is World Autism Awareness Day. It is a day for celebration and support and an opportunity to spread
awareness and education about the Autism Spectrum.

It’s so easy to wear a blue wrist-band or a blue puzzle-piece pendant or necklace. Some are wearing blue ties
and blue dresses; others have blue puzzle face paint and there are Autism Warriors who have even been inked
with blue puzzle tattoos!

What does Autism Awareness mean to you?

The World Goes Blue!! World Autism Awareness Day Video

This awe-inspiring video is of world landmarks that have been lit blue. These landmarks look spectacular
glowing in the blue light of Autism Awareness.

The video shows the Empire State Building, Sydney Opera House, Canton Tower, Beijing National Aquatics
Center, the Wrigley Building, Table Mountain (yes, a mountain), Kobe Port Tower, Niagara Falls (yes, a
waterfall), CN Tower, the Great Pyramids of Giza (no kidding), the New York Stock Exchange and stock
exchanges in France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Portugal and Poland, Elvis’ Graceland, and palaces and
government buildings from all over the world are on display.

I think they should keep them blue all year round!
