Plenty of Giving – The United States of Autism
ACT Today! is an incredible nonprofit organization whose mission is to raise awareness and provide treatment
services and support to families to help their children with autism achieve their full potential.
I have worked with ACT Today! for the past few years, helping them to produce and present their star-studded
Annual Denim & Diamonds fundraiser. In fact, they awarded my own son Jake with an iPad, which he uses for
speech therapy and for school tutorials, especially math.
They send their monthly newsletter and I visit their website often, which is where I found the AWESOME
movie below. I can’t wait to see it, I’m so excited.
Video: The United States of Autism Trailer
Follow one man’s 11,000 mile, 40 day journey across the American landscape to visit twenty families and
individuals affected by autism while searching for answers for his own son.
The movie includes interviews from people across the nation and across the Spectrum from all different
cultures and walks of life.
What this man learns changes his life and the lives of the people he meets along the way.
This is a story of hope for the future of Autism and I cannot wait for it to change my life too.
Thank you, ACT Today! for sharing this information.
